Victor Acosta, shoe size 10.5
Executive Director
Vic has served as the founding program director establishing Boston's first six teams and managing its first 200 resident and volunteer members as well as the service organizations and facilities that comprise the BoMF community. Prior to coming to BoMF Vic worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Arthritis Foundation, and United Way in various development and management positions and also served as an engineering manager in aerospace and semiconductor industries. He is a USA Triathlon certified coach and 14-year veteran marathon coach and founder of Dreamfar Training which is one of New England's largest and most successful marathon and triathlon training organization's geared towards community service.
"I feel like everything I've loved and done has prepared me to give BoMF my best. Running changes lives and BoMF takes that to a level that puts people on the road to realize dignity, strength, and fulfillment of promise."
Vic graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently studying at Northeastern University for a Health Science degree.

Bridget Horne, shoe size 7
Director of Communications and Corporate Relations
Bridget has played an integral role in the successful launch of BoMF in the Boston community. Bridget manages the logistical coordination of all Back on My Feet events in Boston as well as the chapter’s external communications. Prior to coming to BoMF, Bridget served as Associate Editor at a Philadelphia public relations firm. She has completed three marathons and looks forward to many more.
"I’ve been honored to be a member of the Back on My Feet Community since I first became a volunteer in 2009. It has not only changed me as a runner, it has changed the way I view the world. Every day I get to experience the passion, heartbreak and hope that is Back on My Feet."
Bridget graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Communications.

Meghan Goughan, shoe size 8.5
Program Director
Meghan is excited to work with a program that allows her to combine two areas of her life that she has always appreciated: running and social services. Prior to joining BoMF Meghan had worked with homeless service providers in Boston, Cambridge and Washington, DC. She completed the Mount Desert Island Marathon this past fall. In 2011, she is hoping to complete her first ultra.
“I make better decisions when I am running and find it provides me with a great foundation for approaching a lot of the stuff life can throw at you – the good and the bad.”
Meghan graduated from Colby College with a degree in Sociology and recieved her Masters degree from Boston University in Social Work.

Phil Hailer, shoe size 11
Program Coordinator
Phil provides support and ensures the ongoing continuity and consistency regarding implementation of running activities for all participants within each of BoMF Boston’s six teams.Phil is an avid runner who has competed in close to 50 marathons (including 28 Boston Marathons) in seven states and four countries. Prior to joining the BoMF Boston staff, Phil served for 12 years as the press secretary and communications director for the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).
“Combining my experiences in state government and the world of running will hopefully contribute further to the successes already achieved by Back On My Feet,” said Phil.
